Has anybody else had problems with Haltech Platinum Pro?
Well my ACTUAL RPM's aren't actually affected... its just the tach display that drops then comes back. The actual revs of the engine never change. I could be cruising down the road going 40 at 4k RPM, fans cut on and my tach display drops to zero then comes back, but my engine RPM never actually changes.
Forgot to update this thread.
Never once had the misfire issue. Old and updated firmware.
The issue with my ECU was a faulty VTEC driver. The VTEC output was always on (which caused the shit cold idle). Once the oil started to warm up the oil pressure would drop and the oil pressure switch built into the VTEC solenoid would shut VTEC off (normal warm idle).
Haltech sent me a brand new, sealed, in the box ECU which is FS BTW (PM if you're interested). I sold the S, moving onto a different platform.
