S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Has anybody else had problems with Haltech Platinum Pro?

My car is back out for the season.

Out of the 10ish 3-4 pulls I've done since breaking in the new turbo, 2 pulls have suffered from this misfire.

I really really hate ALWAYS having my laptop connected to log this, as I can't ever duplicate it, but I guess that's what needs to be done.

We need to do something about this.

I'm buying the Haltech PP for my build this month on my tuner's recommendation whom I trust very much. As skilled as he is with the Haltech line, this thread still makes me

all the skill in the world makes no difference. Haltech doesn't even know what's going on, you think your tuner will?

our hands are tied

Exactly, I know that apparently no matter what he will try, if this problem shows up I'm boned.

Makes me very nervous, but I'm still willing to give it a shot and hope that I get lucky.

Well, I can say this... While I dont think I suffer from the misfire as much as some, I'm going to give them some time to fix it. If they get nothing done, I'll be putting a Motec in my car either late this year or early next year depending on how my job is going.

This thread is extremely frustrating. Its clear this is not a problem with the tune, its being blamed possibly on the chassis which makes absolutly no sense as there are many other ecu's out there working flawlessly and this is not a low end cheap ecu. I forked out almost $1700 for this setup and the big question..... What is haltech actually going to do to fix it? Are you expecting to find a issue elsewhere?

I have the platinum sport 1000 brand new I purchased a while back, but there is no way I am going to install it when there is no fix or resolution after "just based off this thread alone 1 year". They are stating to "just install it" and see if everything is ok... Well why would i do that? So many people on here are having the same issues.

I will not install a faulty ecu on a race car to only run into issues on the track and waist thousands on gas, entry fees, race tires, and race fuel only to be let down by a ecu that have a track record of being un-reliable.

Haltech what are you offering? No one is going to buy this haltech with all these issues. They are going to avoid it like the plauge. I purchased this computer based off the information from a local shop based on the older haltech's. Now they are stating to stay away due to timing jump issues they have experienced.

Having these issues its on your end and its pretty obvious. Im understanding of the fact it takes time to figure out and fix these issues but the buyers should not be penalized because of a faulty product.

When a good company releases a problematic product two things that happen. They fix the problem and have a recall or they offer a refund to build trust with customer that they are not going to be left in the dark.

Anyone want to purchase a brand new platinum 1000 with PNP harness?

You know the misfire issue is with the Platinum Pro PNP and not the Platinum 1000 with PNP harness right?

Completely different kit...you should give it a go!!
