Default head work for turbo 2001 s

okay guys bear with me cuz im a little uneducated on some of this stuff!

okay i am runnin the inline pro kit with precision 62/65re turbo and all the goodies! Ya at inline pro said i will easily get 400 with modest tune! okay i know i need to do some head work and i already bout the inline 3mm hg. okay one of my friends who has turbo civic(a modest 400hp) said i mite as well look into retainer springs, arp studs, and cams! i want to know if this is a good route for my power goals and wat else mite i need? also i would like to know if you have to mate up cams and the springs and wat not cuz i have heard that you need to! and on that note wat are good total set ups that people are running? i did a little research and found the Brian Cower cams and retainers and springs! which ive heard are good! and last question if i got all these things and watever else is it just pull the head and bolt on is there any boring or polishing that needs to be done cuz i dont want to have to send it out! i have a pretty decent budget so i just would like opinions! oh and i would have a pro installing this! and i know he does Perfect work!

thanks
james

I would not change your cam. The AP1 cam has seemed to be the best for our cars. The springs and retainers use supertech. The oem valves are pretty strong also. Plus a little port and polish on the head.

Lots of people have heat warped the exhaust valves both stock and supertech. I have gone with Ferrea in hopes of not having that issue.

You defenately dont need arp's for 400hp
no cams needed also

change the valves ,retainers, springs only if planning reving more than stock ,which is not necessary with turbo

use your hg and your ok .

just trying to save you some money

Talk to Ya and Chris, they have the Supertech and Ferrea as well as springs.

Endyne (SP) is probably your best bet for porting without a budget. I had all mine done locally and saved a few bucks.
