Help! Cc stage 4 clutch, going to court!!
Hello
I purchase cc stage 4 clutch 6 puck ceramic for ap1 s2000 from realstreetperformance
The first shop installed it, but the clutch had no pressure on pedal, they said it was slave cylinder.
I towed the car to get it tuned, to a second shop, and they asked me about my clutch, they said it was installed wrong. They claimed the throw out bearing was installed wrong.
Second shop took pictures of the clutch explaining to me what was wrong. Why their was no pressure on the clutchpedal.
I would like to forward the pictures to you guys see if second shop is correct on thier claim of throw out bearing being installed wrong.
if it was installed wrong by first shop, which they claimed ot wasnt. I. Going to sue thier ass!
Order of pics
First one is the pic of the transmission with it installed wrong
Second picture with hand of how its supposed to be installed correctly
Third picture is how first shop had it installed.
Fourth pic is the first convo

If the second shop really did find it like they say then yes everything they say is correct.
Amazing to forget a thing like that, just a quick check through the inspection hole when under the car that it should be very obvious the throwout bearing is incorrectly installed.

I dislike people that sue. But if the first shop doesn't offer you a refund for their labor and for any parts that may be damaged I guess you don't really have much choice.

hes being a jerk about, i payed 500 to firsr shop, another 500 to second shop to fix it. I know its true because first shop told me pedal was like that because of cylinder slave deal

Everything in the pictures is 100% correct. The throw out bearing goes inside the pressure plate and when you punch the clutch down the throw out bearing pulls up on the fingers of the pressure plate to disengage the clutch. If the throw out bearing was installed just on the transmission the clutch will not work at all. Anyone or any shop that does this is a complete fool and should not be working on cars.
the throw out bearing in installed on the engine with the clutch and is not installed on the transmission.
