Default HELP - Vortech not giving full power

I had just installed the vortech kit on my 2002 S. Everything looks good, no leaks all good, but when i test it, the car seems to drive fine, but once u get past half throttle, it slows down, as if it's not getting enough gas or something. Almost as if the vtec is not engaging, it did not have this problem before the kit, and thinking it's something with the computer box or something. It's working bc i hooked my laptop up to it and its reading just fine. I have the timing box from Split second tuning (same as vortech) and their adjustable MAP clamp that is set at 2.8 volts, they preset it. Anyways, anyone have a problem like this or know what it could be? Checked the wiring 3 times and all is wired the way vortech says to wire it!

Please HELP!
Thanks, James

OK, called split second, and found the problem, well need to do the fix but 99% sure, the new VC2-5 map clamp that they sell is diff, the vortech requires 12 volts power, bc it over rides the factory one, the new VC2-5 only haves 5 volts bc it RUNS WITH the factory, so this is the problem, he said it's wigging out, going to get a volt meter to see where a 5 volt wire is in the harness. Thanks anyways, will post how it turns out.

That was the problem, split second didn't inform that it wasn't same as the vortech one, but they knew what the problem was, fixed and boom, full power again. Let me know if anyone has questions on the split second tuning products with the S2000, think i know alot about them now, lol.... thanks . James
