To go KPRO you need more than just the ECU, it's about $300 in OEM parts, too.

There is a list of parts needed on the hondata kpro site: http://www.hondata.com/s2000kpro.html

scroll down to mechanical modifications

I got everything needed for KPRO for ~$1500, which I thought was a good deal.

$1300 would be awesome, I'd be concerned that that wouldn't come with those extra parts (which are around $300).

If you aren't too far into it yet, I would seriously consider getting out and going for a complete kit.

If you have things like injectors/fuel pump/etc., then you can hold on to that.

If you don't mind having some of your money tied up, then hold on to it and buy things as they come up super cheap. If you are less than $3,000 into it, I say hold off for now.

Yea I dunno about getting that . I rather get AEM.

I spent $2100 for the IP kit without everything mechanical for it. I need ~$1000 for everything else I need. Can get 675cc injectors for about $200 when they come up for sale. Fuel pump is only $90.

yea so that's saying 1395 + 400 (unless you have an rsx ecu they can use) + the oem parts for 300

again, that's all brand new

if you want to do it the budget way, go for it. i would just say be prepared to have your car down for a week or longer (2 weeks + is more probable if yall are doing all the stuff yourself) if there comes up that you need something that you can't find/something doesn't fit/something is broken/etc.

oh yea, don't forget clutch

Like DFWs2k, I also bought a full kpro system used for $1500 here online. Then used the hondata map sensor and electronic boost controller with plx gauges to read everything. it didnt seem too difficult going this way, for me anyway. you could probably get away with a cheaper aem unit with gauges if you want to save a little, but i prefered the kpro w/plx gauge combo.

People told me the clutch should be fine for like 10k miles on low boost. I plan on getting it tuned on 93 at like 6-7 psi starting out. Because I don't know how it would hold up with the intercooler I have

It'd be better to sell your car and buy a car that's already turbo'd.

so still need a few more items...

1. air filter for the turbo
2. Injectors
3. fuel pump
4. O2 sensor (wideband)

after that it depends on what route you're going with the engine management(AEM/KPro/Ultimate). After deciding on what EMS you want to run, then buying gauges and other accessories will be easier.

Like that AEM map sensor you have won't work with the emanage Ult, but will work on an AEM EMS. same with the serial gauges you were looking at thats for sale.

Already have a filter for the turbo, forgot about that.

I guess I have to sell the EMU and buy the EMS, since I already have the AEM sensor, and know what gauges I want to buy that are AEM, be pointless to lose myself even more by going a different stand-alone route.

same boost solenoid AEM sells, but at a 1/3 of the price.
