Good luck, seeing all this work makes my stomach turn, i just got done doing all of this and dread ever having to do it all again. So much sweat and blood.

I get to pull my head this weekend to change my head gasket again... I'm trying my best to psych myself out and be motivated about doing it but last time *my first time on this car* it kinda kicked my a$$ and kicked my morale in the balls.
Its time to "man up" again though.

I enjoy working on my car, it's not a bad thing, just that I don't make alot of $$, so that is the deal breaker for me.


Been looking for some better jobs, so hopefully it won't be an issue in the future.

Alright, ordered the pistons from Inline.

Went w/them b/c they I am sending the block there as well, it's only one state away. WV ---> VA

Versus sending it to AZ from WV, lol. S&H pwns.

Regardless, I'll have about $1k in pistons and hone/bore.

So, w/that said, where does everyone get their bearings?

I'm needing some ACL's.

Shippin does own..I'm thinkin of taking my block to them as well I'm only 20 min from inline pro. I picked up sleeved block this time around. You can never have enough money building a car good luck I did the hg dance twice will be my 4th turbo set up this time around I'm praying nothing else new comes out I really want cause I'm getting discouraged so many hits but the car gets boring once you finish it

I hear ya, I couldn't rationalize spending 3x the money that this was going to cost me.

I feel w/these pistons and bore/hone, I'll be set for anything under 800whp.

If I had went the sleeved route, it would have been ALOT more $$, even though it's good for 1000whp, but I would have to replace basically everything at that point, so 3k would turn into 10k easy. I'm not ready to do that, nor will I ever w/this car.

I'll wait until I've got a z06 under my feet for that

1000whp c6Z06 will be my baby one day.

I'm always very mindful of what I buy and how much I spend, so when it's time to sell the car, I'm not lost, so I can at least break even.
