Kyle, could the power be so low due to the turbo being outside of its efficiency range, plus a safe tune?

Turbos as large as the one your running are not meant for 91/93 octane. They need a lot more boost than what can be ran on pump gas to be in its efficiency range. You get tuned for both pump gas and race gas/e85. Pump gas for daily driving and you can switch to race gas/ e85 when racing.

Multiquote isn't working currently (at least on my current system), otherwise I would have grouped Tom's post with yours; the turbo is definitely outside of its efficiency range currently. That's a good point! I would have tuned for both 93 and race gas/E85 (on the same day), but I simply don't have the clutch setup to support the numbers I'm shooting for. Additionally, I'm only revving to 8700 currently. I'm going to install springs/retainers before I head back (I'd like to rev to 9500 or so).

I was wondering if you were going to do springs and retainers. Otherwise I think it could get scary as I've seen from personal experience.

What clutch are you currently running? I would figure it would have had a decent setup since it was preciously turno'ed.

Yeah. Most likely dual springs from Supertech.

Some part of me really wants to order the Inline pro valve train, but I planned on doing the supertech dual valve springs and retainers.

Do it! If its good enough for the S2King and BoostedF22C, ya know its legit!

solid numbers, why not just get a race gas tune and only use it on special occasions
