Default hey guise i have quick ?

so i was reading there are lots of problems with precion turbos and i think i kno why. i dunno why nobody ever thought of this.

so a bov is for when the turbo is spinning and the throttle close so there isnt boost in turbo no more, right? well, that's if you're goin fast forward. wat about if you goin in reverse? the turbo is spinning the opposite way! my b0v doesn't work if i'm baking up into my moms driveway. maybe the precion seals are not built to handle reverse exhaust? maybe that's why the smoke some?

before anyone ask i did a search and i didn't see anything about this so don't tell me to do dat. wat you guise think?

Wtf..... Engine spins same way in forward and reverse if ur bov doesn't work in reverse ur probably not putting enough load or rpm on the motor to spool the turbo.... They blow up cuz they suck .... Simple

Nah bro, it's because when you put it in reverse, the front wheels are now doing the driving, so the car isn't tuned for the extra power due to less drive train loss. The turbo is now running way too lean because it then requires more fuel!

The precision turbos aren't made to run super lean, so over time, this lean out from backing up starts blowing turbos.

It's quite simple really.

Careful might blow the welds on your intake manifold using a precision turbo
