Default hi temp coatings

i wanna coat my manifold, turbo(hot side) and my down pipe coated. I wish full race was offering this when i bought the kit bc on their site they now do hpc coatings, also i called jet hot and spoke to them and they seem great also, so guys what do you think, hpc or jet hot?

I went with Jet Hot and they did a great job. It only cost me about $370 for the manifold and turbine housing. You really don't have to do the DP if you don't want to.

I second the Jet Hot. Great work from them.

I've used both and I prefer HPC. When I did my first turbo with Ultimate Racing, I sent the manifold and turbine housing to Jet for their high temp coating. What they did that I didn't like is stamp numbers in the gasket side flanges of the manifold and turbo housing. I had to file these surfaces flush again to get a good gasket seal. Other than that, their products are similar. You have a choice of different coatings - the bling coating that's nice looking or the 2000 + degree coating that is dull grey or black. From a performance standpoint, the higher temperature coating is the way to go as it retains the heat much better and will keep your under hood temps cooler. It also cost more.

They stamped and coated my flanges also, even the V-band for the wastegate and I didn't do anything to it and they still sealed up just fine. I put a new exhaust manifold gasket on also. I did notice that the V-band clamp didn't squeeze together as much at the bolt area though.

IMO, neither. I have had the silver coatings and the black coatings from Jet Hot and HPC. Neither seemed to do much other than not look like bare metal. On the other hand, the Swain Tech white lightning coatings actually seem to work and reduce heat. I have used them as well as some of their piston coatings and was very impressed.
