Default high idle

i just got my car back...but i have yet to tune it. however, the idle is kinda high...between 2-3k at times. i was told that i can fix that when i tune the ems. is that true??? also, i changed the TB too could that have an affect?? thanks in advance

well first give us more information.

did the car start idling high after you put a throttle body on the car, or did it happen when you installed the aem. perhaps you did it at the same time, in that case, you should go ahead and check for vac leaks and lower the target idle in the aem software.

If its not tuned then thats why. The basemap probably idles pretty high to ensure it works on all s2k engines.

Get it tuned, it'll be normal again.
