How-to Inline pump Install

i cut the rubber line going up to the feed. took it a local hose shop and had them add a couple feet to it and it works just fine. There is a relay that its wired to and the aem controles it. im going to push the setup a little harder and max out my 6262 but my tuner was saying that he dident see a problem with it makeing over 700 on the setup.q

Just looking for as much information as I can get.
It will be another month or so before I figure out what I'm doing at the rate of "information" I've been getting.
Really seems like there is a lack of knowledge on the subject, or people aren't willing to share.
lol ok... the pump gets put in on the rubber feed line right before the fuel rail. cut the hose about 6-8in from the fuel rail. Now you have a long peice of hose and a little peice with the fitting on it. take the peice with the fitting on it to a hose/equiment shop and have them add like 3ft to it. they will know what to do.
NOw the other peice of hose that you cut the longer side gos to the input on the walbro pump. i mounted my pump to the fram rail.
You now take and put the 3ft peice of hose you had made and put it back on the fuel rail. and trim of the excess hose you dont need.
As far as the relay gos you can buy those just about anywhere i recomend leaveing it and having who ever is going to tune your car install the relay because who knows what trigger he will want to use.
That is the best i can do for you im not going to take my car apart just for a couple photos this should be enough info on how i did mine.

ZLFAB so you do not have both pumps running the whole time?

This is off topic. A AEM/Synapse style fuel rail mounted FPR will not be able to raise the pressue to much. How would you be able to run a fuel lab FPR for example. I would like to be able to get close to 100psi fuel pressure. To maximize my ID1000s. I would be super happy with 550whp on e85.

yes just used barbed fittings and the second fuel pump gets triggered at like 7psi so it isent going all the time. 1000cc precision injectors but they were at like 95% idc

and that was on the stock frp. the mounting brackets i used came in the walbro kit.
i made 545 on 20psi on pump gas the other day. my aem is being buggy so i need to send it in.i could have made close to 600 if it wasent being gay.

Look up HOB switch and you can use it to turn the second pump on at whatever psi rating you get the HOB switch at. Switching the second pump on at 10 psi of boost is pretty much the norm from what I have heard. Also, LJ from Full Blown told me that I can let both pumps run all the time with their kit and thats how they do it. He said that the lines for the S arent like an EVO where you have to switch the second pump on at a given psi of boost. I dont know if this would still apply with an in line pump though so you may have to have the second pump switch on at a certain psi of boost.

Less wiring, or switches to go bad imo.
As long as your return was big enough to handle the flow, it would be fine.
