I think 22k-23k would be a reasonable price for the turbo setup & built motor. The V-mount setup is also something different and requires fabrication (just like most of the turbo setups here on S2Ki). I've thought about selling my car as well; it's very difficult to find a person who can appreciate the care/time/effort put into building a turbo setup on some of these cars. I know I would make more money faster by parting it out than selling it whole.

Car is probably worth 7-9k in this market. The setup alone looks like an easy 25k

7-9? you're joking right?

no one can place a value on the car. the car is worth whatever the owner wants to ask for it, and whatever the buyer is willing to pay that is close to his asking price.

id say a fair sale price would be 22-25k, it definatly seems like its worth it, but you have to wait for the right buyer to come along, i know someone that paid 19k for a 500whp civic, is he an idiot, YES, but the seller just had to wait for the right person......

Those mods are of the upper echelon of turbo s2ks. Probably capable of 800+whp. Not many guys running around with a fuel cell and full cage. The drivetrain alone is 5k+.

You have to ask for 25-27k for a car like this, whether or not you can get that is up to the buyer.

I personally, wouldn't buy anything with a built motor. I'd probably buy something with FI, but I'm very skeptical about people popping open the motor and the reliability involved, especially if it's not someone I know. Even if it's FI, I would take it to a tuner and have him feel out the car as well as do a leakdown compression test

quite honestly a car like this is really worth slightly more than market value so that would be like $15k but thats just my thinking

not too mention, a car making 700+ will destroy transmissions in gear. better start saving up for a PPG gear set.
