I just got a call from Full Race. Mine was shipped today. I'll post some pictures when it gets here. Unfortunately, it won't go into the car until this Fall when I swap in my spare engine.

the hypertune manifold has a cnc billet flange mounted on the underside of the plenium [where it cant be seen] which houses an oem iac valve and all other factory connections plus some extra 1/8 npt fittings for vaccum and boost applications. hope this answers all concerns, cheers

^ Thanks for the info! I wonder if Full-Race will make this manifold for an MY06?

The only thing that is not retained is the Air pump valve bracket. This will have to be removed and will cause a CEL for those with the stock ECU

And as it's not used with the AEM or other aftermarket ECU it saves you having to disable/cap it.

The EMS or stock PCM control the IAC. Without an IAC the engine wouldn't be able to idle at all.

the stock intake manifold and TB have air channels for the IAC. All this does is allows some extra air in front of the TB into the intake manifold, bypassing the TB, during idle. As Slows2k mentioned, the IAC is just a simple gate controlled by the ECM.

The new throttle body doesn't look like it has this inbuilt air channel. You may have to get a small hose to connect the IAC to the air intake pipe for this to work. I think you can even hook a filter to the intake side of the IAC and let it suck engine bay air.
