Pure simplicity. I tune cars daily. Even as a tuner i would rather run e85 over any gasoline and methanol injection. Especially for anything under 350hp per litre.

From a tuner stand-point E85 is much better. It allows the tuner a HUGE amount of safety because of E85's lack of pre-detonation and because of the amount that is adversely injected its cooling ability. Fuel w/ meth injection is more efficient, and for the volume of water/meth injected, has even better cooling properties.
From a power standpoint this is where the chemistry of things is going to start to bog it down. Really E85 is just taking the dummy out of a meth injection set-up. It is basically pre-mixed for you in a alcohol to gas ratio. That is nice in that nothing can go wrong with the ratio of mixture or the injection set-up, like it can on a meth/water injection set-up.
But like we have learned you still need to have X amount of combustible fuel to make X amount of power, so to do this you just inject twice as much to get back to the amount of combustible fuel you need to make X amount of power.
All I am trying to say is that there is more then one way to skin a cat. I would say that both are very comparable. Both have there +'s and -'s.
If you stated at first that from a tuning standpoint its a "landslide" with E85, I would agree. But from a overall set-up, or power, or whatever....I don't think its the killing you describe.

we are using gt40 since that was only turbo we had at the shop. it is laggy because it has 1.19 a/r LOL i have gt42r at the shop so i might change it later. its weird but gt42 has less lag than gt40(even with smaller housing) For now i have to leave it alone since it belongs to my wife!
Interesting...overkill for a daily driver on the street, but good numbers anyway.
Sucks about your lack of torque w/ 600+whp. I'm making 330wtq and only 450whp on 93 oct.
