It depends........On 93 pump and 15 psi I am around 460 whp. I could run as much as about 20-21 psi on pump if I wanted to.

Are you guys using a huge turbo or something?
it will make more torque if i turn up the boost. this turbo is not happy until it hits 30+ psi. thats the drawback with bigger turbos.

you could just have a few different maps. one for full e85, one for full pump gas, one for 50/50, maybe one for 75/25. but then again, i dont know if the aem holds different maps, so you would prolly have to carry laptop around all the time.

This thread is nuts, the "low hp" guys are making 400+ whp. Turbo S2000's have come a long way.

The key to get high horsepower numbers is to keep the torque curve as high and flat as possible to redline. Putting that torque curve as far to the right of 5252rpms will give crazy horsepower numbers even if your torque is lower than other motors that don't rev as high, but have higher torque!

I recently saw this with a friendly race between two turbo s2000's. One had a FR manifold with a GT30R which made 360 ft/lbs tapering down a bit to redline, while a IP GT35 which had only 55 horsepower short of the FR setup, but made 250ft/lbs to redline. The race was short, but in the 1 and half gear pull, the difference in cars was rather drastic!

I'd be curious to see how this 600 wheel horsepower setup would compare to someone who didn't make as much horsepower, but had relatively similar torque, only at a lower RPM!

Assuming either car could find traction right? I recently drove a Laskey built GT35R setup that made about 420whp on pump gas and it took a 275 rear V710 R compound to put the power down coming out of corners (autocross). I can't imagine another 200 whp on top.

that's b/c 600whp+ for the street is overkill on this car by a long shot.

great thread, so can someone explain why e85 isnt more popular, i saw something a few months ago about a koenisig ccx(i dunno how to spell it) made 1000hp on e85, this stuff is awesome
