Got pics for ya! the wastegate elbow is of the second teardown that I repaired cracking, the others are interior/exterior and lack of penetration of additional joints.

It does look like lack of penetration. I wonder if this was one of the manifolds he had to get help welding on when he was trying to build the kits himself and people were all over him because it was taking him time to make them? My manifold was the first one Cody made besides his own and I havent seen any of this. Although, I did run with it for about a month with no Jet Hot 2000 coating on it so the SS could go through a few heat cycles and then I had it coated inside and out. Maybe this helped my manifold hold up better, but I dont know or he just had the time to make my manifold and he did it himself. I think its a great manifold that he should have just done a little more R&D on and continued to make. It makes great power, but if it isnt welded correctly, your manifold shows what the results can be.

Is there anyway you can bead blast the whole manifold and just go over all the welds and gets them to penetrate better so it'll hold up better? I'm no welder so I dont know if this can be done or not.

I liked Cody, drove up from Maryland and stayed at his house while installing the kit, hes a great guy. It doesnt really excuse the craftsmanship of the product or the company thats suppose to stand behind their work.Like I mentioned its been an ongoing nightmare just trying to keep the car on the street with this kit. I did run the manifold SS and didnt coat it until after first crack repair. I even tried innovative mounts in effort to reduce engine movement and added additional bracing , obviously with no success. Blasting the manifold and rewelding the entire manifold im sure would change the properties of the metal, weakend from the additional welding. Maybe heat treating and quenching might gain strength back? But after all that I might as well just build my own. Im just dissapointed in Lovefab and the product. I loved the look and design, it made great power when it ran?
I dont really wana bash Lovefab because I could definetly rant some more. I just didnt appreciate his "oh well!, thats why I discontinued the design, i dont even sell that many s2k kits anymore!" whats that supposed to mean? He was very defensive. I was just looking for some support not a freebee. Im glad everything is working out for you spoolin and best of luck. Ive moved on and awaiting my Forged Performance ramhorn manifold.
