It is not just polishing. It includes drilling and grinding.
You remove the pounds by removing unnecessary metal. Notice where the block off plate is located at the top of the picture. Notice to the left of the plate you can see through.
Factory manifolds are two inches of aluminum at that point. I removed where you can see through.
BOTTOM VIEW
Several runners and bosses have been removed. Unnecessary material has been ground away over the entire manifold.
BOTTOM VIEW One support and boss removed on runner one, two supports on runner two were removed.
And what is this Rutherford BS doing in my post. He is basically stock. At least it runs that way.
Good deal...remind me, what is the point of the block off plate?
Wow thats some serious weight off.
I weighted my OEM with the EGR on and the CF on and the CF one is maybe 1/3 of the weight of the OEM one...
if i remember right its like 11lbs compared to 4.5lbs?
But i wouldnt go that far as saying that you can take 4 off with grinding and the other stuff. The EGR takes away the most...
anyway great IM and thats Chromed out probably?

When Mr. B.S. gets off the fence between NA and FI, we should be very very worried.
Especially if his 'other' projects are a benchmark for the dark recesses from which his thought processes materialize. Basically stock turns into almost stock
