my ID 1000's came with 3 little washers that i put on over the rail mounting studs before the rail. i just left the factory manifold grommets in and put the injectors ontop. no mods needed. the id s2000 kit came with the injectors, pigtails to be assembled, and 3 washers. thats all you need.

*dont know if its diff for AP1/AP2
I am currently installing the id1000's on my ap1 and im confused with which grommets to use. You say you left the oem intake manifold grommets in place then installed the injectors. I would assume you remove the grommet from the id1000 injectors that would have replaced the oem intake manifold grommet correct? I ask because I ran across this and it sounds like they want you to use both the oem intake manifold grommet and the one that was supplied with the kit:

http://www.adrenalinrushllc.com/store/down...nstructions.pdf

"The S2000 injectors come assembled with the necessary modifications. The supplied lower cushion will press against the factory cushion for a tight seal. Install supplied 8mm washers under the mounting studs for the fuel rail (between the studs and the intake manifold)."

For some reason to me it doesnt make sense to have both grommets (cushions) pressed against each other, but if thats what everyone does please let me know. Thanks!

Yes both seals "press" against eachother to create a seal. Doesnt seem like the best setup but it works and everyone else here is running it like this.

Simply take your oem injectors out, and replace with the ID injectors except put 1 small washer under each mounting post for the fuel rail.

My kit is older than this thread and the cushions it came with and they pretty much disintegrated. The oem ones that sit below them are fine. Anyone know where I can find some replacements or even better would be an one piece solution instead of double stacking them

Those looks like what I would need. I’m actually running ID750. Would those fit?

Assuming you mean the ID725's, and yes they work on all of our injectors for the bottom.

Slightly off topic but still regarding these injectors - how's the idle quality?

With a competent tuner you should be able to get the ID1000's (and now the ID1050x's) to idle like a stock injector.
