Default ID1000's and e85

Guys I am currently running a SOS 1200 blower maxed out at ~22psi on 104 octane race fuel. I'm running I'D1000's at 60psi base pressure with a fb340lph fuel pump. I make ~520-540 whp and was wanting to swap to e85 but will my injectors be enough for that power? Remember my blower is maxed out so maybe able to get maybe 10-20 more whp with cams, cam gears, and a 80mm TB but no more.

540whp on a supercharger and you want more? You're the poster boy for "it's never enough" lol. Amazing build.

I think it can be done. Be easier with id2000 but I still think ur setup can handle it. If not exactly then close to it.

i'll swap you ID2000s for your ID1000s + cash

I don't think it is worth the trouble for 20-40whp

What is your injector duty cycle. I've seen a few people make 600whp on id1000s with close to 100psi fuel pressure, that was on dual walbros though. I'd say you should be fine, might need a boost-a-pump or at minimum rewire the pump.

How much? And how bad is it? I don't know about the duty cycle because my car is down for the winter and a new clutch

Water/meth injection. We run it for a reason

Run your current injector duty and get all the attributes and more with Water/meth. Last I checked race fuel doesn't also cool your combustion temperatures, wile also improving your octane to race gas numbers and beyond.

Side note - is the 1200 not over spinning at a 22psi size pulley? I didn't realize they were at a safe operating speed at this level. Great numbers, your car must be a real thrill! I have all the supporting mods to get there myself, just the wrong size blower.

Yes I am over spinning the blower I may invest in another water meth setup but then again its still not just pulling up to a pump
