i think ive come to a conclusion. gonna sell the 1000's and order 2000's and the FB dual walbro hanger. with stock lines, rail, etc they say i should be good for 650-700 easy. this would be the easiest way to do it i see. $1000 for injectors, $400 for hanger and another $100 for the second walbro.

Maxed my ID1000s out at less than 18 PSI on my Vortech with E85. Tried 50 and 65 PSI base pressure with Aeromotive 340.

After i upgrade my blower, I'm gonna take the plunge and fork out the cash to run E85 with Id2000s and a FB hanger with FB340 pumps on stock base pressure.

I ran ID1000 with a walbro+boost-a-pump and maxed out just shy of 500whp. That was on base fuel pressure. I upgraded to FB340 and ID2000s and made 621whp with plenty of fuel left. Still have the BAP btw.
You still have the BAP. I assume you were using it to make 621? What pressure were you at? Stock fpr or something else? interested cause im in the same boat. shooting for 600 on e85 and have brand new in box id1000's, 255 in tank, and stock everything else. Wondering if i should just sell the 1000's and walbro and pick up 2000's and a 340 (and possibly a BAP and regulator?)
That was on a stock FPR, ID2000s, FB340, and BAP. I think there is close 700whp in this fuel setup. When I made 621whp my duty cycle was in the 70% range.

Nice! i dont know if i should go your route (340+BAP) or dual hanger 255's. Still leaning towards the dual, seeing as how im going to have to pull the pump anyway. Now if i could only get DFW to check his freakin' inbox. lol

Bringing an old thread back, but I currently have ID1000 on E85. Making 486whp on a Mustang Dyno.

I do have the SOS Dual pump surge tank but i am running it at base fuel pressure. I'm not sure what my Injector duty cycle is though.

I'll have to go to some dyno days this spring summer to see what it lays down on different dynos.

Just use flare fitting on each end of a Bosch 044, then attach it on the stock rubber fuel feed like. Pick up aem an fpr and turn up the pressue.

Also, remember guys that just because the fuel psi is there, that doesn't mean it's providing the adequate volume. The fuel volume dropout is substantial before psi is affected.

I've even seen this with bad filter assemblies that provide driveability problems on stock s2000s

Im shooting for about 550 with my SOS kit on E85, I have ID2000's and a AEM 320lph pump and a AEM FPR. Will this be adequate or should I get the bosch 044 pump?
