Exactly what I thought, especially after my car has been in pieces for 15 months...figured something got installed wrong and was about to go Boom

Don't get me wrong I took my valvecover off just in case

Wow , never would have thought the Id 2000 injectors would be any louder than the 1000 versions . This is very good to know as i am about to install some in a customers car . How do they idle ?

Sure its not just valve tick? New springs/retainers? That sucks man.... new motor and all

Nothing in the head has changed (except replacing the valve that bent when my motor blew). We double checked valve lash when we pulled the valve cover last week. Just really loud man.

Having other issues right now as well (car still not really drivable)...will probably start another thread here soon explaining the symptoms....
