Default I'm part of the broken s2k club

dec 26 I take the s2k out for a spin. Weather is great and the car is moving. I get on it a bit in second. Shift to third and ring it out to 8k. Slow down and turn into a parking lot to grab coffee. I cruise into the oarking lot and ease it into second at 10mph. And then the carnage presented itself. Sweet sweet loose change sound and growling. It's offficial. 2nd gear is toast. 1,3,4,5,6 all work fine lol. Mileage at death shade under 60k. Rest in piece you trash bag transmission. Hoping to source a low mileage one in a few months. Most likely will replace the clutch while I'm in there. Oh well :/

Man sorry to hear that... Iv been in the club. I had got some push in the front end and put it into a gaurd rail and bent the rad support and the driver frame rail a little bit. Insurance said it wasn't salvaged and its been down at Autowave in Huntington Beach for over 6 months now.... 0 paint work has been done still. Good luck with it all

Hmm... I'm planning to do the ACT HD pressure plate and OEM disk and targeting around 325wtq. Hoping staying with a relatively un-aggressive clutch will reduce the shock loading on the gears.
