The correct way to run nitrous is with a AEM controlling it. You must take out timing when you start spraying shots over 50hp. you might see that no timing pull is needed but at a static 11.0:1 comression Knock can occur very easy. You let the ems control the duty cycle of the injector at nitrous engaugment. Then the extra fuel will be given through the injectors via duty cycle increase. Then you can pull 1-2 degree of timing out if the fueling mixutre looks like it needs it. Also you can have it come in at X rpm and at X load level. Also Vtech engaugment can be used to come in soon with it. Iim sure you coiuld use a wet system but Im not one that is will to risk a nitrous system. I have plans on spraying 150shot on my motor when the time comes. With 12:0:1 comprssion You better believe I am using a Standalone to control it as well as a secondary methanol injection system. Its can be done safely but It needs to be dont that right way or dont do it at all. everyone is also forgeting to go to a cold plug for nitrous. Again if you plan on running a smaller shot 35-50hp you can be very carefull and prolly get away with it with a window switch and some sort of way to watch fueling and if it leans out the system will shut off.
