This is normal. They try to avoid people copy their patent so i can understand that

i know k-series had some tensioner issues, but people are making 6,7,800hp on our F-series with the oem tensioner.

i think this is just another way for inline pro to get overpaid. but maybe thats just me.

I would be more apt to buy this product if they provided a simple explanation as to what changes were made to the Tensioner.

Can we get some information on this please?

It seems obvious there is more to Inline Pro's TCT than just sand blasting the worm gear. Why else would there be a problem with using a 3mm gasket? Stock tct or sand blasted tct's don't have a problem with s2ks using 3mm head gaskets, let alone difficulties installing them because of tension issues.

My guess is the spring inside the tct has been upgraded and the worm gear modified.

^The real test now would be to put some cams in your car and see if Inline Pro's tct fixes all the skunk2, bc etc chain slap issues

Why dont u take it apart and post a picture of the different internals compared to stock?

Toda also now makes their own TCT and upgraded timing chain. They have had good results so far in the K motors with the new toda product.

Seems like a possible problematic modification if the tensioner from inline is too tight on the chain? I wonder what testing they ran this tensioner through before releasing it.
