Removing comptech supercharger kit.
Installing -8an cap to block off oil return line.
Do i need to use sealant on threads?

ive read tons of pages on this procedure but seems its 50/50 on whether to use any sealant on threads. i see that thread tape is a nono, but i do have some of the liquid paste equivalent.

No sealant or tape for years now on my return line and I haven't leaked a drop.

No sealant. Sealent is only used on pipe/npt fittings.
