I got the socks, pumps, and hanger in the tank and bolted down.

I guess I should have asked this before. The wires that I had to splice for the fuel level unit are just signal grounds and don't need to be waterproof, right? I threw some heat shrink tubing over everything, but just want to make sure thats fine.

Also, for the InlinePro oil filter relocation, I want to make sure that I have the lines hooked up correctly. I've researched and found people to say top-top and bottom-bottom. I have seen the block that holds the oil filter mounted upwards off of the engine and also downwards off of the engine so I am a little confused.

Mine is mounted with the plate holding the oil filter going down. Right now, I have it top-bottom and bottom-top. Is this correct for my configuration?

I can take some pics too to explain better if needed.

^^You'll be just fine on the fuel level lines. I just soldered mine and put heat shrink on them also with no problems.

Okay, we tried to prime the turbo just now and we couldn't get oil to the turbo.

We took the oil filter off to make sure its getting oil with the relocation kit. Theres oil in the filter full so I am pretty sure that is hooked up right. If it was backwards, would it get into the oil filter?

We tried a total of 5 times cranking the engine for about 5 cranks and still no oil. The oil level is full.

Any ideas as to fix this? The oil light is on during cranking too.

We got it to prime. The front end was jacket up and lowering it helped to prime it. Don't know if its a suction thing or what, but after lowering the front end of the car, it worked.

When the system is dry it usually takes quite a few cranks before oil reachs the top end, and even longer with a relocation kit that is dry.

So does that mean you are going to fire it off today?

We actually fired it off last night and burped the coolant (since I drained it originally wanting to do a thick headgasket).

I don't think my neighbors like me after revving the car burping the coolant at 11 o'clock at night with an open down pipe.

My local tuner and I threw on my 4 bar map sensor and ID2000 injectors and were having troubles with idling on 91 octane. Luckily, Scott(dsddcd) called me and helped out a ton. The correct voltages for the dead time really made a difference, but the idle is still a little off. We'll mess with it some more, but its pretty crazy that its idling at .06-.13% duty cycle. Thats just nuts.

My turbo started smoking too after cruising at 2k rpms around the block. At idle it doesn't smoke. Since my kit did not come with a restrictor, Scott advised me to get one. I'll be ordering one tonight.

I have mine going top-top bottom-bottom as far as the oil filter relocation is concerned.

You must have yours facing up then. Like this right? This is Scott's(dsddcd) setup. In this case, it is top-top and bottom-bottom.

I have mine setup just like InlinePRO does for their stage 2 kit. Heres what it looks like. In my case, it is top-bottom and bottom-top.

I just have to ask. I found the source of the smoke to be in the down pipe when I took it off. My oil drain goes to the front of the pan like IP has. No kinks and its a 10AN line pretty much straight down almost. I haven't gone anywhere near wide open throttle with it and it started smoking while cruising around the block at 2-3k rpms. At idle, there is no smoke at all.

Since that is fine, the next place to look would be the oil feed/restrictor and too much oil pressure? Correct? Since the kit did not come with one, I ordered one that was a .065 size.

Should this solve my problem? If it does not, what else could I do to fix smoke coming out of the turbo in the exhaustt.
