What is the advantage of running independent throttle bodies?
I would think that the throttle plates reduce flow...??
Although I do see that there is obviously more plenum area.
But more plenum area could be achieved with a non-independent-throttle-bodies manifold as well.

The biggest advantage is better throttle response and more low to mid range power. As far as reduced flow goes, a single 3 inch throttlebody has a cross sectional area of 7.065 sq. inches. Four 50mm throttlebodies have a total cross sectional area of 12.16 sq. inches. And the stock throttle body is less than 3 inches.
