You wont hit 300/450whp on the Novi 1000, even with a 2.4. But you can with a 1200 no prob.
What if I were to rebuild the N1000 with 928 motorsports 62000rpm bearings and replace the impeller
At that point you might as well step up to the Novi 1200

There is no reason a 2.4 (k or F) cant turn 9k+ all day long with the right parts. We do it ALL the time. Will it make power that high with that blower.. I dont know. The novi 1000 will run out of gas very quickly with a 2.4 liter motor, hell the novi1000 struggles to keep up with a 2 liter motor. the novi 1200 wouldnt be far behind but would work well if you can keep a belt on it with a 3 or 3.2" pulley. We have even run k24 crank pulleys on f20's to get more boost.
Very interesting... Does it bolt right up? whats the actual diameter of the crank pulley? Is there a thread on this somewhere i missed? Did you have the outer section that bolts to OEM crank pulley machined?
Yes. They both share the same crank snout diameter. Timing marks will be off on the crank pulley, but that's easily remedied.

Wadzii, does CNC make a F24 kit that revs to 8000rpm and will work well with F/I, and does not require sleeving?

Our rods use custom arp bolts and are good to pretty much whatever rpm you want to run them to

My good friend and engine builder in Connecticut builds some of the fastest all motor and turbo k series motors in new england so we have this discussion all the time. ill give you a few builds he recently has done and it kinda puts the F series to shame when the K is done properly honestly. Now maybe with some more R&D this can change but the K series is king when it comes to all motor right now. (Huge part is cam development)

06 Civic Si Coupe w/K24a4 Block, 12.5:1 drop ins, 88x99(1mm over bore stock 2.4 crank stock sleeve), 4piston 06+ cnc ported head, cut rrc intake, drag cartel stage 4 cams, xenocron tuned on 93 octane made 297whp on a their super low reading heartbreaker mainline dyno.

k24 EG Hatch w/K24a2 Block, 13.0:1, 87.5mmx99mm, k20a2 head, drag cartel stage 4.5 cams, kinsler 62mm ITB`s, on xenocron dyno also making 310whp on pump 93 oct.

Then the builder himself runs a 88x99 13.7:1 88x99 stock sleeve, 4piston Pro163 head, drag cartel stage 4.5 cams, kinsler 67mm ITB`s port matched to the 4pison cnc job, on q16 makes 360whp and on m5 methanol makes 390whp. Keep in mind this is a STOCK SLEEVE STOCK CRANK motor! Its best time so far is 10.43@131 UNCUT FULL GLASS.(old setup before itb`s and fuel changes) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7P0h87Bz4s

He built another one of these motors and its in the countrys first 88x99 9 second honda. Car went 9.89@135 I believe. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_t_5UlbXDo

But back to the point I dont see any F series motors making anywhere near this kind of power regardless of times. Dont get me wrong, I am the biggest F series supporter ever, but the facts are just to much to ignore that the K series platform performs much better currently than the F series when comparing built all motor to built all motor

another factor when comparing WHP is that FWD has less driveline loss
