I emailed Kings about the V2 manifold. He said the first batch had some problems, but they haven't had any problems with the newer ones. Also stiffer mounts cause more vibration which causes may cause cracking. He also mentioned they are made of schedule 30.

They are hard to deal with when something goes wrong as well. But I'm sure you'll be fine if it was welded correctly.

I'll save you some time and heartache now and let you know bracing isn't going to stop a manifold from cracking. If its going to crack, there's pretty much nothing you can do about it. It's more about the technique used to weld it than the material used.

haha indeed. I don't plan on bracing it. Just going to get the dang car towed this weekend hopefully and get it tuned and we shall see how the manifold holds up.

Good advice from the (unfortunate) expert on the subject.

They make alot of good products but for turbo kits they wouldnt be my first choice. Theres alot of similar kits on the market... but thats just my opinion. For a all around kit get a P-Tuning Setup... For an all out horsepower build and drag queen get a Full-Race Front mounted twin scroll kit or if you can stand waiting get the full-race efr turbo kit.
