Would a store carry an NPT plug like the one I need? I looked all through the plumbing department and what I bought it the only 3/8" plug I found.
Any hardware type store would carry a 3/8" NPT plug becuase it is the most common type and Im actually surprized you found a JIC plug at lowes.

Just ask any lowes or home depot worker for a 3/8" NPT plug and they should point you in the right direction but heres a pic anyways.

Hey glad you finished your build. I was waiting for you to come up to ny so you can look at my other kit to see what your missing. I assume you went with science of speed upgrade for the heat exchanger. I am looking at that in black for looks as well as keeping IAT's down.

Congrats again and on your new business. Looking forward to your heat shields. Later.

Yeah I am sure I will be missing some little washers or bolts here and there but all the main things are definitely there now. Bought all the oem hardware for bracket and stuff from Vortech so know it is the right stuff.

Hey yeah been delayed going back to NY still trying to figure out/ decide what I am doing.

The heat exchanger is actually a no name one I bought. Seems like it will be plenty good or what I need and only $120 shipped.

def crazy weather going on down in the southern states. When I was visiting my folks for the holidays in was in the 20's at night and the 40's in Myrtle Beach, SC. Of course the day I left to come back to NY it was a beautiful 65 degree day .

Looks good to me. Welds look good and all. Pretty simple thing so don't really see what could be wrong with it.
Does not come polished or anything. I polished the end tanks up a little bit when I got it as it is not wide enough to hide them so rather them look nice.
