Default Kraftwerks Boost Curve question/problem?

I have the kraftwerks AP1 High Boost youtune kit. Max boost I have seen is around 10psi.

I have noticed that I can only fit full boost (10psi) in first gear. When I am in second, third, and so forth, my boost will only go up to (6~7psi). Is this normal or is there something wrong?

The weird thing is, when in second gear the boost would get stuck at (6~7psi) for a while then bounce to 9~10psi near redline, then when I am in third it would just get stick at 6~7psi.

Any ideas?

I'm thinking it is a vacuum source and/or boost gauge issue. I believe you are using the belt we recommended on your AP1 high-boost pulley. We have not encountered any slip.

Also, you are getting 10psi in first gear. If you were going to get belt slip, it would be during that rapid acceleration in first gear as well. Also, when belts slip they lose grip and don't get it back the rest of that pull.

The only time mine saw around 10psi was on the dyno when cooled down. Normally when driving around I see around 7 or 8. You tune kit ap1, I believe the pulley was 7.5 i think that they sent with the kit.

I agree with OJR> its strange your only getting 10psi in first. If the belt were to slip it would more likely to do it in 1st gear.
