I just checked the vacuum lines and there are no kinks or leak in the hose. We connected the boost gauge to the BIG vacuum line that connects to the back of the intake manifold.

Personally I do not think it is the gauge's problem as it's response when the engine is in vacuum is very quick and smooth. But I guess I will still double check with them.

If you want to make sure your vacuum source is good, then swap it to where your BOV is hooked up to ... the brake master.

Right now the boost gauge IS hooked up to the brake master.

The vacuum line going to the bottom of the picture is going directly into the boost gauge sensor.

typically you always want the boost gauge to be on the straight side of a T, so flip the T, so it is straight to the boost gauge and t's off to the BOV

essentially you would want the boost gauge and the BOV to have a straight shot at the vacuum source

I switched to another boost gauge and it produced the same result so I do not believe it's the problem with my gauge.

Could it be a faulty diverter valve causing me to lose boost? When my rotrex disintegrated last time lots of metal pieces got inside the intercooler. Maybe some of them go inside the diverter valve and damaged it? Just an idea...

I can sell you mine if you want it.

I'm using a proper bov but it makes a lot of noise.

I actually have a synapse bov in my garage but never got to installing it. It requires a boost only source and I am not sure where I could find one.
