I removed the diverter valve and found that the inside is all damaged. Is the inside supposed to be all smooth? Mine is all roughed up with sharp edges, seems like some metal pieces went through it and damaged it.

he ran a 100mm pulley on his ap1 @ 9k rpms which resulted in vicious overspin
