That looks about right. You will only hit peak 10psi @ redline which you'll be @ only briefly.

That's good. I just thought the boost would go up more smoothly.

How did you take that video? It doesn't look like your moving.
That video doesn't resemble my setup at all.My guage is very linear and really smooth.I checked and it climbs all the way to 10psi in 1,2,3,4 no jerkiness at all?
I'm using an Autometer electric vac/boost gauge that uses a stepper motor with peak psi memory and boost warning light.Looks like something is wrong with your boost guage setup.I connected mine to the intake manifold where the PCV valve hooks into. I'm using a vented catch can which deletes the PCV setup so the IM port is used just for the Boost gauge now, works like a charm.

The gauges are Defi BF series electric gauges with stepper motors.

We hooked the boost gauge up to one of the vacuum lines coming out of the intake manifold.

Does the PCV cause the boost reading to be jerky like that? I have an AP2 Valve cover and a krankvent.

I'd call Defi and ask them.Let them know where it's hooked and see what the tech says.Nice looking gauges though. It is possible you have a bad sender unit or a leak/kink in the hose? Does not look right to me.Way to erratic ,mine is as smooth as you'd imagine it should be.
