Default Lets talk drivetrain!

Well guys, my build should be coming soon (wish me luck) so I am getting down to the niddy griddy pieces of upgrades.

I am most likely going with ACT, don't know what stage yet though. However I want to know if Competition clutches are that much better. I can get the ACT for a pretty good price, but if you guys think it sucks balls, i'd like to know.

Usage: daily driving
Power output: no more than 350whp

Let me know

If you have an inside line to get one at a discount, I would not hesitate to use ACT.

ACT makes nice clutches just as ATS, Centerforce, Competition Clutch, Exedy, OS Giken & others do. You can search here for reviews from people who have used them.

For your stated usage, consider OEM(made by Exedy) friction disk paired with an upgraded pressure plate from one of these manufacturers. See Hardtopguy's clutch kit as the prime example of this setup.
