lets talk redlines
whats up guys, so I will be getting my car back on the road soon with a few changes to my set up(turbo, intercooler and piping, dumps, blah blah) but one thing I wanted to bring up was my redline, I switched to an ap1 intake cam this time around, have a fully built ap2 bottom end 11:1 comp, full ferrera valve train, I was thinking about running 9000, thoughts? insight?

If it is still an ap2 crank then I would keep redline at 8500. I don't know if your aftermarket pistons/connecting rods take away any rotating mass or even if that increases that safe limit for revs.
EDIT: Who built the motor? What do they say?

its cp pistons, crower rods, i went with super thick wrist pins this time so thats def added weight there, and the rods are def heavier than stock, im guessing the pistons are similar in weight to stock, so over all its heavier than stock, john at machine world built the motor, now hes become wre, wright racing engines

You will have no issues revving to 9K since your motor is now built from head to toe. I have been revving to 9k for 3 years without any issues. Others on AP2's have been revving to 9500k without issues. I would just stop where it stops making power.
