A recirculating BOV is often used on cars with an air mass flow sensor.
Normally the BOV vents bacn into the inlet plumbing after the Air mass flow sensor and before the turbo.
That way you don't blow flames each gearchange when the Air mass sensor tells the ECU to put in enough fuel for all the air that the BOV is venting.

Pull out a dead thread
CTSC comes with a recirculating BOV/by pass valve in the standard kit. Its basically just a BOV that vents to the intake rather then to atmosphere, its the only real functioning difference i'm aware of. You can cap the intake and just let the recirc valve now vent to atmosphere making it a regular BOV.
