I contacted a friend to see if he can get me a new one and I can fedex it there if need be. Other theory is since the car sat for so long, the starter got stuck.

how long did car sit? battery might be screwed. i dont know why but a car with a crappy battery that you attempt to jump start doesnt behave the same way as with same car with new battery. i learned this with my recent battery exploits.

it sat for about 9 months, but durring that time the battery was in my other car and Id swap batterys if i need to recharge it.

I just talked to Carlos at the shop and he said the starter cranked a few times when they first got it. After they did the work it and finished this problem arose. He said they tried starting it for a few hours and no luck friday. It is getting power and ground is fine. He is going to pull it tomorrow and bench test it to see what the problem is. I think it odd for it to stick just like that also since it did crank when they got the car a few weeks ago.

Im wondering if they tried swapping the battery to see if my yellow top was the culprit.

Ill update when I find out more.
