Guess I will just go with those then instead of the CP pistons.

I am going to have the shop do a build in house since its there and the owner is working on getting me a quote for how much it will come out to.

This is the list it parts I'm planning to go with. Mostly sticking to a lower budget build and nothing crazy since I know what the turbo kit is capable of and already maxed it out.

Wiseco pistons stock compression
Brian Crower h beam rods
Acl bearings
Supertech dual valve springs/retainers
Oem head gasket
Arp head studs
Supertech valve seals

Now it i get my head rebuild I will add supertech bronze valve guides and super tech nitrate coated valves.

What do you all think? Plan is to have it tuned on flex fuel at 10psi and drive it. Maybe boost more in future but for now I want to drive it. I don't need beefier parts since the turbo is only good for 657 which we maxed out on E85. I don't plan on upgrading the turbo or anything else.

for 10psi....stock long block my friend. but if you are gonna build it, id go ferrea top end and sleeve it. mahle appears to work with frm, but you need a shop that can handle boring/honing the block correctly.

I see. Alright well I have a few things to think about. May have to just go with getting new sleeves then. What a headache.

I kind of just want to replace the messed up piston and rod, and just put the new head on with the valve springs and retainers and call it a day. Too much money in this car.

How bad is the cylinder where valve dropped? May only have a choice to sleeve.

I don't know yet. Shop is taking a long time to get back to me. When I last talked to the owner her said I could just go with a new piston and rod or do complete rebuild. Biggest reason I didn't want to go with new sleeves is downtime. Cost is crazy as well.

I agree. For 10 psi there is no need for you to build. I honestly think you will get bored quick with 10psi though. Particuarly if its on pump gas.

Well heres the deal. I want to get it built for future to what I had done before it blew, but for now I just want to drive it at 10psi and not have to worry about all the mess I have got myself into. Once I get bored I can always come back and retune, I just want to have the room to do it later without having the motor blow again.
