Thinking of doing supertech Inconel exhaust valves. Does anyone know if it is worth upgrading to bronze valve guides? What's the benefits of doing so over leaving the stock ones?

Hatchbone told me stay away from supertech valves that he stretched 2sets on his old b series build i would just stock vavles and upgraded springs and retainers that's what i did and i stayed with stock guides also thats just my 2cents

Get ferrea valves, the rest looks like a solid build.

The only reason I wanted to go with the supertech exhaust inconel valves for two step or they can take a beating. Maybe I will leave them stock. I'm trying to keep the build cost as minimal as possible and don't want to buy excess parts unless the are really needed.

Many motors have been lost using two-step and Supertech valves, just giving you the heads up. The OEM and Supertech valves are made of two different materials for the stem and face of the valve making them more prone to dropping. The Ferrea valves are one piece which makes them stronger and will more likely bend than break when detonating/high heat situations.

I'll second the advice on not using supertech valves. Seen a set take a dump in a friends civic and destroy the motor, I've got ferrea valves in mine and wouldnt have gone any other way.

Ok so the supertech is out the door. Would leaving the stock valves be okay?

I'm running stock valves at 14 psi. I think you'll be fine.
