The little things ?
That's all so helpful thank you very very much. What about tubing that protects up to heat of 750. Would that help with the harness or other lines ? Or just move them as the real fix. I'm just asking if it's just a fake. Like dei cool tube extreme.
The DEI heat wrapping might work but I wanted to avoid any possible problems in the future so I did it right the first time. I had my manifold swaintech coated with a ceramic white lightning coating so I'm sure that'll help keep temp down also.
some time saving tips... car will not be drivable, but you wont have to worry abut when you actually get the turbo kit & start to install
remove the following...
oil pan, exhaust manifold, cat, stock exhaust, all heat shields, O2 sensors, battery
stock intake, front bumper, secondary air pump, fuel rail & injectors (cover ports so they dont get crap in them)
stock ecu,
install / wire up the following...
all gauges, your EMS, map sensor & injectors if you have them, fuel pump etc , clutch?
ARP exhaust mani studs, tapped oil pan (or even better tap the girdle!)
thats all I can think of right now,
what I mentioned is more than half the work of a turbo install.. the actual installation of the turbo kit components is pretty easy
