500 on pump might be tough. But agree with stock drive train. Mine is still kicking after 13k miles.

Ive put so much money into my car that I wish I could beat the crap out of it.. Thats the way I want it. I want it as bullet proof as possible.. I dont find it fun doing high way pulls and granny shifting. I want to beat the sht out of 1-3rd gear and not have to worry about anything. I find it currently pointless to own my car right now b/c all I can do is high way pull and granny shift. Just my opinion.

What type of diff reinforcement would I need?
Also, I know the tranny probably wouldn't be able to handle the power, so what tranny is suggested to handle 400-500+hp?

My main concern is the costs for all of these mods. Can I get a ballpark?
Tranny and diff are wild cards, if you're hard launching the car they will break, if you're banging gears instead if shifting smoothly you will break.

The transmission conversion most do is a v160 Toyota supra and a ford 8.8 diff. Those alone will cost nearly 12k+ to swap in.

if the v160 and 8.8 conversion really gets up to costing 12+k, there are way better/stronger/reliable options to go with.

List please?

For a street car... Who should I talk to? I keep hearing this but no details...

There's a guy doing a t56 swap. Might work well and save around 4 k on the swap. Still not cheap.

Anyone who tells you this isn't expensive is a dreamer/liar

The t56 will work ok if face plated. The v160 is too much for just another oem trans. For that price just put a gforce in it.

Didn't someone try to use a t56? I thought they had problems with shifter location or something?

The T56 fits perfect (from what I've been told) I would face plate a T56 anyday over the V160 swap, even tho the V160 is an amazing trans, not worth the price tag....

Where can I get all I need for a 450+hp build?

Turbo kit, fuel system kit, etc.

Also, which manufacturers are worth looking into?

I'd love to stay under or between $7,000 - $7,500 in parts, if possible.
