Ok I am buttoning up all the loose ends on my car and I am having a stupid problem.

When I cycle the key on I get 60psi fuel pressure and after the pumps shuts off after 10 seconds or so it drops to 43psi. Then I go to start the car and it comes on for about 3 seconds and dies.

I figured it was because of the inline pro return line and walbro 255 being installed and only having a little gas in the tank. So I put 5 gallons into it and still the same thing.

The walbro has been rewired to the battery with 8 gauge and a relay. Maybe I have the wiring wrong? I dunno with all the s2000's I have going right now this one is starting to piss me off.

Could be the kpro map?

Any ideas guys I am all ears.

Setup:

07 s2000
inline pro return fuel system with walbro 255.
Doolots performance twin scroll custom turbo kit
Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors
kpro dual ecu.

 

Sounds like its going to be something in the wiring. Maybe you have the connectors in the wrong place on your relay? There is a good write up on hard wiring the pumps from google.

 

i had this problem, turns out the relay went bad. swapped it out and it works fine now.

 

Going to work on it a bit tomorrow, It's weird that it will prime up and then dies out..
