All in all I waited 2 months from the time I ordered, to the time I recieved the kit.
I would assume this kind of turn-around for a fully custom kit like this. I know Cody said one thing and ended up delivering another, but with just one full time fabricator, I think a month or two is realistic. Especially if you want the best quality.

Its like any custom part, it takes time and cannot be expect.
Its like half of you who have done your research on the kit forgot it..Cody does it by himself hes one man. I understand he shouldnt promise things but remeber things always come up in a custom job and no one can for see them.cut the guy a lil slack he makes a bad ass manifold and d/p combo its worth the wait and headache

^ In response to that, I think that most of Cody's customers that I know from this forum, myself included, have given him slack and not too much grief about the deadlines that get pushed back, I have no problem with that, but what I do want is to see posts like this so people are not mislead and they know what they are getting themselves into before deciding to turbo their cars. Before this post, the common consensus on the forum was that you just bolt on the kit and go, which is true for the most part, but not entirely. I'm not trying to bash Cody, I think his kit is still the best available, but I want people to be informed on what they should expect beforehand.

People need to understand that NO TURBO KIT IS BOLT AND GO.

I hear and understand what you're saying...but if I am paying $7,500 for a turbo "kit" it had better be darn close to bolt on and go. That's the whole reason why someone pays a premium for a kit rather than buying the parts individually. Right??

That's what I like to think of as R&D time.

But once a company unveils its product to the market, it should work as designed. There should not be a need to add/subtract items, rebuild, adjust. etc.

BTW, this is all generally speaking and not directed towards Lovefab. I personally think his products are of high quality. But it is concerning to hear that there are some fitment issues. Especially since I am in the market to buy FI and have been leaning towards Cody's kit.

First off, thank you all for the support; it means a lot.

Now to the nitty-gritty:

Charge piping; this was addressed recently and the TB pipe was lengthened. From now on, all charge piping should fit well.

Downpipe, Im not sure why there were issues with the 4" downpipes, other than ground clearance. I build the parts to fit on a car, fixture them, and test-fit the parts after production through a fixture. If theres an issues, the fixture is adjusted. I will recheck clearances again on these 4" downpipes, Im thinking a fixture was dropped if there are these balaringly obvious fitment issues.

If you measure under the car, there is only so much room anyway. Adding a 4" pipe in there certainly cramps that room. It definately isnt for everyone.

Oil lines, I have tested the setup extensively and its proved very reliable. I certainly hadnt put 100,000 miles on a car, but around 10,000 and no issues thus far.

And finally, wait times. This has been the worst issue of them all. From my pre-Honeymoon this past March to moving when I arrived back. Basically, the shop was shut down for 3 solid weeks. We are finally fully operational and I now have two guys working for me fully time to help with downtime issues. AND to help even more, no commute downtime because the shop is literally 10 feet from the house.
Johnathan, your parts are shipping tomorrow. Along with Kens and Charlies. Im getting with you all via PM now. If there are any more concerns, please PM or call me. If I dont answer it means Im on the other line or behind the welding mask.
I havent been able to get on here as much as I have wanted to because of the work load, so phone calls are probably the best way to get ahold of me.
-Cody

The general feeling on this forum has been that the Lovefab kit is the holy grail of S2000 forced induction.
No, I think Full Race is the Holy Grail. It's also the most work to install and the most expensive. Love fab is the best bang for the money and the best looking once installed. And it will match Full Race for HP. With any "kit" you can expect some hickups. If you can't turn a wrench and you don't have a rudamentry knowledge of tuning, then stick with a SC.
