Upon further reflection (and some new experiences with new fabrication products this evening), since my last post, all of the charge piping is being re-done using Vband(aka Wiggins clamps) clamps. The throttle body and charge piping will be the only places with silicon couplers, and those will be changed to hump hoses.
If anyone wants this swap done, please let me know. There will be additional costs, and Ill need your original charge piping back for refitment(and the price of the kit will jump a little bit), but the fitment will be exact and so damn simple that if you cant figure it out, you must have a hard time changing oil.

Im spent, long day of welding. Please PM me reguarding any swap desires, etc.
what better customer service could u ask for. He sees people struggling and jumps right in to help!

sorry I didnt call u back that night for the IC piping got tied up ill be calling prob by the end of the week

I have been standing by too long and I'm sorry if I piss someone off but I have to speek my mind.

Cody first off i enjoyed meeting you at the grand prix. I am the old guy that sat with you on thailer for awile.

1.) No beads on the pipes. No good. connections blow off at high boost.
2.) 2 in gap between intake pipe and intake, and yes it is installed correctly.
3.) Oil filter upside down, welded onto a pipe, looks very cheap.
4.) Down pipe had to be heated up for the V-band to connect to the turbo.
5.) Turbo touching the Vtec solenoid melting the plug and wires even with a turbo wrap.
6.) Heat problems with the water heater lines and fuse box, even when moved farther away.
7.) Having to fab water lines for the turbo.
8.) No instructions for the install.

Once again I am sorry because I like Cody and the kits flow A LOT of air and put out great numbers. BUT. I have watched this build from day one and cannot believe the amount of work that has gone in to making this work. It is hard for a shop to promise a car to be done and then keep explaining why it isn't ready.

These are my personal views and not form 2NRWERKS or anyone else.

Cody I'm sure you will address these problems to 2NRWERKS and fix this.

Once again sorry but I couldn't hold back anymore.

Everything is on the car as of this last week, and we ran into some heat issues within 1 hour of street tuning/driving(82 degrees/sunny FL). A new heat shield was made, and so far it seems to be working.

Custom hoses and fittings are bieng picked up tomorrow for the coolant lines. Then it should be ready for some dyno time.

2NRWRNCH, what the hell are you guys doing? Whats with the tin foil? I have a 4" down pipe and have 0 problems with heat any where. You have to move the vtec wires out of the way and zip tie them to the vtec solenoid itself. Maybe before you start ragging on LoveFab's kit you should take a step back and look at your install job . I did mine myself with NO instructions also.

This is one of two heat shields that I made, the other you can see in the first pic just to the left of the turbo itself covering a small wire loom. The diamond plate was used to make the original shield than pounded flat to be used as a pattern.

Here is the bracket I made to get the fuse box as close to the fender as possible.

ex-eclipse, first off, beautiful engine bay! Big props on your install.

I know lots of people are running the Lovefab kit w/o any of the issues being talked about on this thread, but ...

I've been down to 2NRWERKS and seen the heat and fitmit issues they're having first hand. Maybe the jiggs got tweeked the day their kit was done. Maybe stuff warped while it was welded. Hell I don't know, but I can tell you the issues they're seeing are real problems w/ the kit and not install issues. All the ghetto looking foil/wrap etc, are just attempts to control heat issues that shouldn't be there in the first place.

But what I here is that 2NRWERKS had like the first kit that cody made a while back, and just recently they installed it. I understand a kit shouldnt have any problems off the bat, but all you had to do is call cody and tell him and he will fix it. If anyone one had a problem they would call him and he would get it fix as soon as he could, I still really think 2NRWERKS should have just called him before this thread was even open. I have talked to cody numerous time, and this guy does everything he can to make his customers happy. NOt saying bad about 2NRWERKS of course, this is not a flame reply.

KRAZYKOREAN, I pretty much agree w/ you. I wasn't trying to bash Lovefab at all, just adding my observations re: this particular kit.

Looks to me like you have some thermal coating on your piping, that will definitly help you not have heat issues. Second, If there is known to be heat issues then it should be stated. Customers shouldn't have to call Lovefab to ask if there are issues to address, the issues should be included with some sort of documentaion. Then again maybe I'm crazy
