Low Compression Pistons
Chuck,
congrats on your recent victory. Well at stock compression you would want to avoid anything more than 9psi...It will put too much strain on the motor. Most supercharge application will come with a 7psi pulley and offer an aftermarket 9psi pulley. Pushing anything over those thresholds could potentially cause disaster...good luck.

Low comp pistons are a big step. That's a complete rebuild.
An interim step might be a 2 or 3mm head gasket.
But the stock engine will handle low boost (<10psi) with correct tuning and meets most power needs.
