Default low/high boost switch

im going turbo soon. and i was wondering a way to keep the low/ high boost switch clean as far as inside the car.
i was thinking a about a button just like the "cruise" button but on the other side of the wheel...

any thoughts??

I have two toggle switches for Meth, and one for the Cut-out, I will also have one for low/high boost.

Think of where the rear defroster switch is, well picture the complete opposite side and thats where I have two toggle switches

I have two switches that fit in the cutouts on the cluster surround. The left one is an ON-OFF switch for the Cruise control on US cars (Aus cars don't have cruise), the right is momentary and is for the rear demister.

I intend to use the Cruise button for boost control.

It doesn't yet but that's the plan.

I intend it to take one of the switch pins on the AEM to ground and have this turn off boost control. So boost will be controlled at the upper setting by the boost control map and when turned off, by the spring.

to wire in a switch for a secondary map you do it to the nitrous map on the AEM V2. Ideally it is ok to do if you are running the same fuel and just want a high/low boost on that map. BUt since the nitrous map does not allow a true full secondary map it is not a good idea to do this for fuel change. IE one side of the switch say 93oct and 14psi... other side of the switch e85 and 30psi... bad idea via jeff evans response to me about a year or so ago.

Thank you for the info! I am planning on running 10psi low on the gate and 15psi high on aem boost solenoid somehow utilizing the cruise control switch to engage the new map so to speak. All on 93 pump gas btw
