It can not be the manifold. Lets say an S2000 puts down 200whp stock and you put down 385 at only 9psi. Thats roughly 20whp per 1psi. Then you made 488 at 18psi which now is only a little over 11whp per 1psi for the next 9psi. See how the efficiency is going down. To further prove the manifold is not the problem, you gained less then 10whp going from 18psi to 20psi.

Has the Pfab ELTM been used with a bigger turbo yet. I have only seen posts with the 30r. Anyone with a 35r or bigger use this manifold yet?

JoeyBalls, when is your car hitting the dyno. I know its a twin scroll but it should prove that the manifold can make power.

Martin
I am dropping my car off this week to just do the HeadGasket install, Valvetrain stuff, Fusebox Relocation and Battery relocation, I am hoping to get it fully installed and on the Dyno by February sometime.

Pang said I should have no problem reaching 550RWHP with this manifold and a GT35, however I believe the hotside is 1.06 with my turbo (does that sound right?). Neeman77 has a Gt35r with PANGS twinscroll and he made 600RWHP on C16 and I believe 500 on pumpgas & Meth, but at what PSI I am not sure (he is an AP1).

I am also going to do what Neeman did and re-wire my fuel pump and see if I can hit 600RWHP on C16

The manifold looks very efficient, bur obviously that doesnt mean much..........

If the GT30 is rated at 550 crank this seems about right for not pushing it to the limit?

Thanks everyone

This would not have been possible without the help from the NJ Boosted crew and all the members in the FI forum that answered my questions along the way.

I referenced so many build threads on here for inspiration and problem solving, and hope that mine will be able to help others as they take on their own projects.

I'm pumped for the next meet so I can enjoy it with you all, and look forward to meeting those I have not met.

Big thanks to everyone that helped me put this together - Minitoyota, Rob!, Reborn, Jacko and Jeff Evans for an amazing tune. The NJ boosted crew is like family and am too happy to be a part of it.

Profile video should be done in a week or so, and I'll post the dyno graph once Evans server is back online.

As for the exhaust - it's a custom resonated 3inch single with no muffler - offering little to no restriction

Evans is a VERY smart shop, so I am guessing you mis-heard him if he told you the manifold was the problem.......

Your maxing out the efficiency of that turbo. Certainly you could push the VE higher if you went with a larger A/R turbine side, but to say the manifold is what is holding the car back makes no sense.

I will assume then you came to that conclusion yourself. And if it was evans that told you that, I will assume you mis-understood them because from what I hear they are better than that.

Do you think its possible you mixed up hearing him when he said the turbine A/R and wheel size are the restriction instead of the manifold? Because its not the manifold....

Next you'll say something stupid like, "maybe I should get a inline pro log manifold so I can put out over 500 hp like the other guys with the log manifold since its more efficient" :-)

Clearing up the confusion

joeyballs - the restriction is definitely not after the turbo - he doesnt even have a muffler

[QUOTE=Evans Tuning,Oct 12 2009, 05:54 PM] The only variables I can account for on Greg's car not making similar power to the other 15+ s2ks with 3O76r's is either the turbine housing or manifold.

edit: IMO A/R means much less than just 'A'
