Default Main bearing failure

Posted this i general but got few hits. Maybe someone here cant point me in the right direction.

Car started loosing oil pressure friday. 11psi idle 45psi at 3k rpm. So I took the oil pan off and found copper from a plain bearing along with what looks like part of a cage of a ball bearing, also made out of copper. I have no idea where this came from.

rod bearings were fine. The center main bearing is toast and it damaged the crank journal on one half.
Thrust washer shows some wear, but not horrible. Running a CM-FX500 clutch
Are these cranks nitride coated? Can they be reground?

That looks like a jornal bearing for the turbo, not sure how it made its way out of the center section. Your best off finding a new crank.

Looks like it could be from a ball bearing.

The middle main bearing eh' ... care to say what oil you were running?

I have a feeling that piece you found that looks to be from turbo could have been a culprit, but to me a middle main failure imo points to harmonics or loss off efficiency on the harmonic balancer, etc etc. just wondering. Was it a crazy setup? How did it feel b4 failing?

oh and i would not bother with a re grind, let her RIP.
Find a good one or go Fresh K crank. Probably just as affordable.
